Description

Wanted to do a classic Disney Villain and who's more Badass than Maleficent? I was heavily influenced by the styles of J. Scott Campbell and Nebezial. Ive never drawn dragons before so getting some inspiration helped out alot. I also used Angelina Jolie's face since she will be playing the character in a solo movie very soon...it just fit. Hope you all like it!

I really like your style and the overall cleanness and how well finished it looks. The dragon in the background is quite interesting, too, although I do think it could stand to look a little more like the dragon from the movie. The only real complaint I have is about the outfit. Maleficent is a very sophisticated villain with an incredible and sleek design, and it always saddens me when people alter her design in a way that changes her from this cunning and vile, evil fairy into a simple sex symbol. Short version: The art itself is GREAT, but way Maleficent is portrayed makes my childhood curl up in a corner and DIE.
